My name is Cindy Storie-Soth and I offer childbirth classes and doula serives to expectant couples here in the Cowichan Valley. I have been teaching classes and working as a doula in the Valley since 2007. I am now offering group childbirth education classes out of the new Matraea Centre in downtown Duncan or private classes in your home or mine. Labouring and giving birth is a deeply personal and unique experience for every woman. There is no set formula on how to give birth. My classes focus on how to help women and their support team discover for themselves what the "right birth environment" is for them.
Giving birth is a transformative time in two people's lives. Childbirth classes are the first step towards preparing for this transformation.
